I swapped it with the cable for the quick play bar as a temporary fix and ordered in some new cables and in the process of doing that somehow managed to break the plastic piece that holds the cable in the connector for the quick play bar. So, something is wrong inside the laptop. On step 10 what is that cable called becuase I need to replace it cuz the yellow and blue wires came off…….

I was not enthused by the solution proposed on Laptop Repair, but lost for lost, I tried it! My laptop is not switched on after pressing a power button using a battery and a charger.

They do not make drivers for previous OS's. I am very gently dg6500 this fragile components. What do you suggest next? There are two cables connected to the motherboard. Excellent guide, very helpful. The audio chip built into the motherboard.
