Have you tried the obvious: As near as I can determine, the Inspiron does not have an indicator light that shows whether the radio is on or off. This suggests that the card and driver combination can't see and therefor can't connect to the access point. Please download and run Driver View and upload a copy of the report it produces to your OneDrive.

The only manual modification that I have not canceled is the addition of the file "iwlwifi The WiFi card is supposed to be OK as the laptob has been tested by the seller. On the Inspironpressing the F2 key toggles the wifi delo on and off. PercyPercian Replied on January 5, It seems that noone knows the solution.
